Coleman, Alberta

I went to Coleman, Alberta in the Crowsnest Pass over the August long weekend and enjoyed photographing around the town. Here is a shot of the old Roxy Theatre where live theatre was performed regularly at one point. They're trying to revive this and get theatre groups from Lethbridge to come and perform but currently it's shut down.

Brent & Andrea's Wedding

What a fabulous weekend we all had! It started off with a fun bbq on Friday night at the main public park in Banff by the Bow River and then Saturday was an all day wedding at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. This was a fabulous location choice by this awesome couple who are also great friends of mine! I thoroughly enjoyed capturing your wedding even though it was sweltering hot outside. Being in the mountains was just gorgeous and the entire day was simply amazing for all who were there. Playing Rock Band was definitely a highlight for the guests!! Congratulations to you both!

Reid & Jessica's E-Session

We had a great time getting to know Reid & Jess on a lovely summer evening! They are getting married next weekend and we wish you many blessings and congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

Our Daughter Linnea

Linnea is already 3 months old! We've enjoyed her so much and so have many of our friends and family. Since she was born we've had family come and go visiting from all over the continent. She turns 3 months old on Monday (our 7th year anniversary, July 28th!) She giggles, squeals, "talks" alot and kicks more than ever! She almost rolled over yesterday too but I honestly don't think that will truly occur for weeks! She's growing so fast and every day is different. She has been sleeping through the night all week which is a blessing. She's such a happy and content baby! Enjoy the latest images I took of her!

Jerrold Dubyk Quartet

I had the pleasure of photographing the Jerrold Dubyk Quartet before their Jazz City Festival Tour in Canada. My husband, Jeff, plays bass in the band. Jerrold plays the tenor sax, Bill George is on drums and Tom King plays keys and the rhodes. These are some of my favourites from the session.

Rafal & Kinga's E-Session

Rafal & Kinga are getting married in Poland and unfortunately, I'm not able to join them to photograph their wedding in August. I did, however, have the opportunity to take their engagement photos and had such a great time doing so. We toured downtown on foot and came across a lot of great locations. The light was great for our session as the sun was setting. The only downer was that I dropped one of my lenses and it broke so now it is getting fixed. Enjoy my favorite shots from this session! Stephen & Julia's Wedding

Congratulations Stephen and Julia! It was such a pleasure photographing your wedding day...Your wedding party was so much fun and we had a fabulous time going from place to place. Too bad the Farmer's Market was closed when we arrived. Thanks Julia for climbing up on the limo's roof - and risking getting dirty! The food (especially your mom's curry) was fabulous! I will always remember it fondly. The dancers were fabulous as well. Thanks for coming out to the railway tracks at sunset with me for some gorgeous light! I wish you all the best!

Elk Island National Park Family Getaway

Jeff, Linnea and I took off yesterday evening for Elk Island Park...we were intending for this to be a day trip but in the end we didn't get out of the city until after 5pm including having to come home twice after forgetting important items (i.e. the diaper bag!)

When we arrived we found an area where we were all alone and were right on the lake. Jeff started a fire after having to feed it oxygen by waving a newspaper at it for a long time. Once burning nicely we had supper and I took photos around the area including the friendly but persistent squirrel who wanted our food. The sun then began to set and in rolled in a storm. We had my SLR camera as well as our P and S camera so we we have a variety of shots to share with you. The rainbow after the storm was gorgeous and then the sky turned a glorious pink with some cool textures in the clouds. The steam from the ground that rose more and more as it got later was a highlight. We saw a lot of bison off the side of the road on our way out at 10:30pm.

On our drive home a deer ran across the highway right in front of us. It was pretty spectacular to see this graceful creature jump the fence.

It was a pleasure to photograph Todd and Cindy on such a gorgeous evening. We enjoyed walking along the trails and through Emily Murphy Park tonight. I can hardly wait to photograph their wedding on July 5th. Thanks for a wonderful evening and I hope you enjoy these images! See you both soon!!

Leo & Diana's Wedding

We really enjoyed Diana and Leo's wedding day! I was really looking forward to going to the mountains and the weather cooperated beautifully. It was a very fun day with the couple and their friends and family. The entire bridal party were up for anything. The pyramid they made was especially entertaining. Thanks guys for a great day!!
